Tyler's Senior Photos Gallery

I shoot with so many female subjects, it's always fun to change things up with a guy. Posing, angles, lighting setups - they all flatter masculine and feminine characteristics in different ways. Tyler’s graduating this year, and so, of course, he needed to get his senior pictures done.

Whenever I’m doing a senior portrait session, I try to stay away from the cheesy cliches that give senior photos a bad wrap. Sorry, no posing on the train tracks, guys.

Tyler wanted to go for a classy look so we started off at Studio Boise for some shots against their Eclipse backdrop and then headed downtown to shoot in a couple hotel lobbies - thanks to the Grove and the Inn at 500 Capitol for giving us permission to set up there! You don’t see a lot of senior photos done in-studio, but Tyler’s are a great example of how you can capture just as much personality with a simple background.

Seniors - there’s still time left to get your photos done! I’m waving my studio booking fee for students this February, so get in touch today!
